My insurance runs out later this month and I don't have a lot of confidence in the company I chose last time.

My car is a Daimler 250, value about £20,000.

Does anybody have any recommendations? Or general advice?

At my age breakdown cover is desirable and we intend taking it at least as far as France.

I am not sure who you use but I use Adrian Flux and they do it for about £100. They do tend to put it up each year but I ring them and they come up with a better offer. Frustration is why don't they do this in the first place. They say it is just part of their process. Mine is an agreed value policy. I do try others and will try the new one also this year when mine is up for renewal.
Shop around is the only answer.
