Jobs for the Christmas Break

Postby Richardm340 » Sun Dec 24, 2017 1:28 pm

Hi folks,

i am am planning to do a few jobs to the car over the next couple of weeks and wondered what everyone else has planned. My tasks include:

- replace air filter
- replace fuel filter
- oil change and filter
- grease chassis
- replace the choke solenoid (it appears damaged and may explain the reticence to start when warm)

i might do do the spark plugs as well if I have the time.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Richard

Merry Christmas. Not planning to do much on the car but hope to take it out if it is dry. Need warmer weather for my arthritic joints to function!

Shirking repairs on my 350R. Sciatica wins!

Parking sensors, non parking wipers, aux heater circulation pump issue, MOT and leaking lumbar sausage. Typical Jaguar doing the usual two year disintegration scenario and thats just the bits I do know about! What else will turn up on the MOT chit!! J44 off to Ray Brown at Surrey Jag Centre in Croydon on 3rd January....Bye, bye another £750.....

I’m hoping for some dry weather too, I took her out on Thursday last week and hope to go out Thursday or Friday next week as well.

Good luck J44EAG, sounds like there’s a fair bit to do.

Done the air and fuel filters today, now time to replace for a bit.

Not sailing for a few days so brought the X Type onboard and washed it.
Polish it tomorrow, inside valet on Tuesday and home Wednesday with a nice shiny car.
Result!
