LHD to RHD conversion.......

Hi guys,

I am a very recent 1961 3.8 MK2 owner that i purchased on my travels (Armed Forces) in Canada. I have bought it back to blighty and plan on restoring it. The condition is not that bad and tbh the main thing is body work and a respray. The car is LHD and was contemplating converting it to RHD but am after some guidance to see if this is worth the effort? Will the value increase that much if i do this, i personally do not mind left hookers and i know the chassis number correlates to the fact its a LHD. Any advice welcome and i appreciate any response.

Depends on where you are using the car and/or if at some time you intend to sell it. Conversions don't always fetch the same as original but there are always exceptions of course and mainly that depends on condition.
Should be able to get everything to do it but perhaps take advice from someone who has done it or speak to one of the club specialists before launching into anything. They are great cars, so hope you enjoy it anyhow.
