I wish I could help, but just for the benefit of others: Although SC Parts were nominated for the Recommended Suppliers Handbook, you will notice that they do not appear. 'Nuff said.

You could try contacting Graham Searle, there's a slim chance that he might help.

I seem to remember a few years back on the old message board/forum that many people were unhappy with the service they received, one in particular was a chap that only got part of the stainless exhaust system he ordered for his xjs and waited many months trying to get the remaining parts.Don`t recall if he ever got them.
In such a case as this i would only deal face to face so that the purchase could be checked thoroughly before money changed hands.
Luckily i have John Gordon not too far away and have only good things to say about them.

I ordered a carb balancer and three adaptors from SC about a month ago and only received the completed order a couple of days ago. The order came in three small parcels over the four weeks (they said they had to obtain the balancer from their sister company in Germany) - the last two within a day of each other - and they charged me P&P for each package. Not a brilliant service.

I ordered some door trim panels in January and received them finally at the end of May. I believe they originated from Aldridge Trim in Wolverhampton who could have supplied them within three weeks if I had gone to them direct! Unfortuntely I am relatively new to older cars with interior trim so was unaware of them, otherwise I would have gone direct. The conversations with SC always gave slightly different excuses and was supposed to be receiving them in the next day or two on a number of occasions and promises to call back with an update were never stuck to. I will not be using them again.

I have SNG Barrat and David Manners as local suppliers now and have used John Gordon in recent weeks, all of whom have been brilliant.
