Hello.
I have import me a Jaguar MK 2 1964 from UK, but the S :?: wedish MOT dont like that the bodynumber on the car 232259 and on the paper from UK have 232259BW, Could anyone perhaps explain what this BW means. The car come to UK 1989 from South Africa, there it was sold new in 1964.

Hi

The BW at the end of the number means it was fitted with an automatic gearbox.

Yep ,i agree ,BW =Borg Warner gearbox.
