1999 3.2 Sport for Sale

Due to the fact i want to purchase my mates S Type im looking to sell my 1999 XJ8 3.2 Sport. 70,000 miles, lots of history, tensioners changed 6,000 miles ago, in the last 4 months its had 4 new tyres, new ali thermostat tower & thermostat, new upgrade water pump, new spark plugs, new air filter & full coolant flush / change, all of this was just done to make sure was tip top as i was about to make it my daily driver (next job would have been gearbox oil change although it drives perfect!) and i like to make sure things are right. Ive also just had upper passenger side lambda sensor replaced by Jag specialist as this was faulty (see my posts). Bad points - rear passenger door doesn't open with remote but works fine with inner/outer door handles & boot only opens with key been told boots a cheap (£30) fix but no idea about door, small bubbles on n/s/r wheel arch & some rust coming through bottom of o/s/f wing. The car has lots of extras and looks/drives great, pictures on photo gallery / register. Im going to put the car on Autotrader/flea bay at the weekend but would rather sell it to a member on here and would accept £1,300 (NO OFFERS ITS CHEAP ENOUGH). UPDATE- Tensioners were changed 10,000 miles ago not 6,000 Also comes with all books/manuals and plate will be changed back to original 'T' plate.Tested till April 2013 & Taxed end of Oct 2012.

Well thats it for me as far as my XJ8 ownership goes, XJ gone (got an S Type as replacement ) to a new owner who just wants to use it over winter so he can keep his 'tricked up' Skyline free of salt On a plus point ive given him club details as he thinks he may join for insurance and forum help etc and always fancied a Jag. Thanks to all who have helped in past with problems and im sure il be needing it again on S Type board
