V8 Badges?

My B post V8 badges are a little faded looking and I thought about replacing them, and maybe getting a small one for the boot lid as well.... however the OE ones seem quite expensive, and any I see on ebay are either too big or posted from Malaysia or China (despite saying they are UK companies)

So, has anybody ever put on an alternative? and if so where did you get them?

They have nothing listed - I'll give them a ring later on although I must admit to not being a fan of the original badge, it just looks "plasticky" to me, the old Rover V8 badges I had on my SD1 wings (to me anyway) looked better, and I was looking around for a smaller version of that to put on.

But I suppose for the sake of originality I may just replace like for like.

BMC........the personalised idea is down to you its your car and if you like the non standard pillar badges better then that's the way to go. All this like for like is for when you are restoring a vehicle back to the original spec.
A bit of personalising goes a long way in making the vehicle just as you want it......sort of your own signature if you like. I must admit a bit of non standard ideas i have incorporated on my 1999 Daimler......not too loud but i know they are there and have had quite a bit of comment from those who thought it was standard........there are a lot of bits and bobs that you can apply without making it look too Bling Bling........Joe

This i found on E Bay at Atlantis Classics....they have quite a choice of V8 badges if you want a change.........there are lots of choices on ebay...Joe
