i recently purchased a pair of power fold auto chromatic door mirrors on ebay,
and proceeded to fit them to my car,
i have power folds already , this was part of the pack provided on my Sovereign , but i only had a chromatic rear view mirror inside the car,
exchanging the units was fairly easy, but the door card has to come off, and i didnt realise the wood trim has to come off the card to start with , but i got there in the end,
fitting was a pop, one torx bolt on the mirror, unplug it and its off, fitting the replacement was just as easy,
my reason for the change was for several reasons, my nearside mirror pod power folded, but was noisy , and it also had a small scrape to the black case , as well as not being a chromatic one,
so, at the end of the day i now have a full spec of door mirrors on the car with colour coded backs to em, and they dim down to a dark blu when ever i get dazzled from behind
it was a surprise to discover that the drivers mirror pod i removed was actually wired for chromatic mirrors, but not the passenger side
