Double din - Fitment shame!

I have a fantastic Alpine double din unit complete with sat nav/dvd touch screen sitting in my garage doing nothing!
Would love to fit it into my XJ, Seems like it a drama from the searching i have done on the net!

I remember when I bought my Daimler Super V 8 it was a bespoke model for one of Jaguar directors, the equipment was the high end system with sub woofer ect by Alpine.....high rated stuff at the time, but it didn't have an MP3 player, for home recorded discs.....but the problem I had was Alpine didn't do an MP3 player to suit the system.....I didn't want to put a spurious unit in without butchering the dash board layout...........so I left it as it was .......so happy I did that
