i went into my local Jaguar dealer today(Cheltenham) to get some bits,
i got a new , latest generation v8 water pump for £48 plus vat
i also got a new stat, while the engine is drained etc, might as well take advantage, that was £22
and i got a pair of rear bump stops for £12 plus vat each , my old ones have separated ( rubber from metal )
i also got a boot lock trim for a fiver
i enquired how much the upper tensioners would cost, and they came in at £48 each plus vat, and they quoted me £320 for fitting all the parts i bought for doing the tensioners, you also have to buy some revised ( shorter ) bolts for the new tensioners , that was £6 for the four of them,
these prices were cheaper than SNG Barret , as i had my discount from the JEC
, and there was no postage to ' add' on top either just got to fit it all now
