Thoughts please - My 2005 XK8 is loosing 1 Litre of coolant after just 10 miles of local driving.

I've just bought a 2014 XK 5.0 . When in automatic mode there is slight, but annoying, stuttering when it changes up or down. Having had four XK8's (all post-2002) the auto gear change was as smooth as silk on all of them. Is this common on all XK 5.0's, or do I have a problem? Many thanks, Howard B...
