Apparently 3 different types of piston rings used 1 type for nickasil & 2 types for steel lined the ever helpful cfs motors Coventry identified & supplied the correct rings now running beautifully .

There is a water hose running in the v that goes soft & leaks, supercharger no t difficult to remove just a lot of work .

i have the same problem with 1 headlamp silver lifted/ discouloring due to moisture , i have seen chrome aerosol paint available has anybody tried this as a repair ? Will the heat affect it ?
