Will we all be using ASPEN in the future as it is a much cleaner fuel and doesn't go off if the vehicle is stored. .???

I have a 1962 mk2 and I have fitted XJ40 seats front and rear. The front seats are more comfortable than the mk2 and have electric adjustment on the front and a comfy armrest in the back. It all fitted well .

Sorted !!!! The brand new servo I was told had just been fitted was not new at all . I have replaced it and the brakes are now 100 % . I am poorer for believing what I was told , but that's life !

I have the same hanging on problem ! I have replaced all the calliper pistons , the brake hoses twice , first time with Goodridge hoses , I was told these were the problem ! New master cylinder and all brake pipes ,all the servo hoses have been replaced and the chamber under the wing. The servo was ...

Hi Alec , The 123 was set up on Novatechs, Slough , Rolling road. They also tweaked the carbs. I drove in with a pit pony and drove out with a race horse, it was that impressive.they did a great job. Jim.

Hi, I fitted a standard Lucas coil when i fitted the 123 ignition a year ago with no problems at all on my 3.4. For anybody thinking of fitting a 123 I would say go for it as it transformed my car.
It starts first time every time and ran so much smoother.

Hi Anthony , I took my car to the bodyshop armed with the information you gave me only for them to discover my car was not Opelescent Maroon it has been re sprayed Toyota Bordeaux. I decided to change the 2 Heater pipes at the back of the engine for stainless steel . I was not having any problems it was purely cosmetic !. My MK2 has just gone into the Body shop for a few bits and pieces to be tidied up . I am amazed how much room I have now got , i cannot get over how much room my relatively small MK2 takes up !!

Remove ball pin sockets
I thought of changing the Bottom ball joints on the mk2 for the sealed for life type.
Barratts state in their catalogue that it is necessary to remove the ball pin spigot from the stub axle.
advice please , what sort of job is it and do you need any special tools , Thankyou , Jim.
