Re: interior trim
Thank you for the info dg4cars, I will try to get hold of Ron tomorrow. Actually, I'm already in the process of putting in a 'new' (read secondhand!) interior with full carpetset. Took the occasion of changing the color to suède green instead of the original black as that pleases my liking more. Onl...

Re: interior trim
Evening Simon,
thx's for the reply.
It's not quite the same as the headlining has a foam backing to the cloth plus the surfacefeel on the sough after material is more like plain velvet.
Best regards,
Jan

interior trim
dear fellow members, I'm looking for a supplier of the black velvet-like thin cloth for my Daimler doublesix S1. It is used in different areas of the interior, e.g. underdash tray, seat base rear edge, front seat mounts (on the floor),... I've only found an item at BAS that's called 'autolux'. Not s...

Re: XJ12 Series 1 SWB - Panels / Parts required
Hi Richard,
I've got a pair of exhaust downpipes for the carb'd V12 engine.
They're original Falcon SS, NOS

Re: replacing a Wiper Wheelbox
HI Keith, thanks indeed for the advise. Had the dash top off already to get access to the wiper wheelboxes but couldn't slide them out of their cavities due to the metal rod. Dismounted the wiper motor and loosened the big nut fixing the rod's end to the motor assy enabling me to slide out the drivi...

Re: replacing a Wiper Wheelbox
Hi Keith!
Thanks for the rather unpleasing news that ALL has to come out
What do you mean by the Dash Pad?
The wiper motor sits in the LH wing next to the battery, what's the best way to dismount the wiper motor?
Best regards,
Jan

V12 emblem on centre console
Hi,
in my enthusiastic cleaning of the interior, I've been removing the 'gold' finish on the V12-emblem sited on the ski slope of my doublesix....Ooops
Anyone who can help with a sparkling replacement? Or can mine be 'gold fumed' again?
Thanks for any advise!
Rgds,
Jan
