Air Chamber for sale
Having just moved my Air Chamber doesn't fit in the car port as the car port has a cat slide roof, so its up for sale. It's a medium size so fits an E type and comes with an extra set of connector rods, connectors, two spare fans and carry bag. Cost new was approx £475, but willing to accept £250 su...

Re: F-Type Official Webpage
I tend to agree with the sentiments about price; despite having a deposit down for a F Type FHC I am going to the launch of the new Cayman S this Thursday as it appears you get more for your money than the F Type gives. As a 2 seater the F is priced mid band between the Cayman S and the 911 and crit...

Re: The 911 or Boxster.
They may well have bench marked against the 911 rather than the Boxster, but the new Cayman S at £48,000 is considered to be even better than the 911. Its no good looking at the 911 if you got a Cayman S or Boxster S with PDK double clutch auto coming in at £20k less. It will be interesting to read ...

Re: FHC or OTS?
Fortunately being a man of middle years I have no dependents (other than the memsahib) so subject to keeping her sweet.................
Having succumbed to the only vice in my life (fast cars) many times in the past, its not quite so difficult to bring up in conversation nowadays!

FHC or OTS?
Anyone else decided the FHC is better looking and therefore are willing to wait to 2014?

Re: E type hard to start after standing a couple of weeks
Hi Stuart, the only religious element is to pray that it starts!
Mike: Thanks for that, wasn't aware. I have only just serviced the E prior to putting to bed for the winter so the oil is new, not old. But I will try and read up on the old article to see what the potential issues are.

Re: E type hard to start after standing a couple of weeks
Good point Stuart. I start mine up religiously every weekend and let it warm up to 70f. Even if the weather is too bad to take it out I always move it out of the air chamber and back in again just to rotate the wheels, use the clutch, gear box, brakes & handbrake, then park it up again with handbrak...

Re: E type hard to start after standing a couple of weeks
Went to bed to sleep through the end of 2012 with the expectation of sunshine, dry roads and no salt on News Years day. No alcohol = no hangover and the ability to drive the E Type, what a cracking start to 2013!

Re: 50 Years Old
50 years ago that was a very nice Xmas present for someone!
I've still got 5 years to go, lets hope you have suitable weather for the E to shuffle around in its zimmer frame!

Re: Series 1 2+2 4.2L Manual for sale
Its even better now its been serviced MOT'd and had some air in the tyres - absolutely flies! On the Memsahib front it appears she's pleased I'm keeping Geordie, it was all about seeing what commitment I had to moving house Vs the E Type, apparently I passed with flying colours! So everyone is happy...

Re: Series 1 2+2 4.2L Manual for sale
I just cant do it!
After heated discussions with the memsahib I will not be getting rid of my boyhood dream just to fund moving house!
Therefore Geordie's off the market and my sincere apologies to all those who expressed an interest
