Re: Hello from Chelmsford
Hi Peter
Welcome to the Wonderful world of the XJS. Had mine 2 1/2 years now, drive it everyday and love it. Search the forums on all the bits you mention and you will find previous threads with great information.

Re: blue flame or aj6 engineering exhaust?
I Know this post has not been addressed for some time however, I've just had the center boxes on my 1996 XJS 4.0 celebration coupe replaced with AJ6 through pipes and am very pleased with the results. Nice sound, not loud.

Dashboard coming out!!
Mrb39 good luck, I didn't mention that I didn't do the removal and refit, only the repairs to the circuit boards. There is a procedure for carrying out the removal and refit but at the minute can not recall where I found it. Once I do I will post information, meanwhile some kind soul out there may a...

Dashboard coming out!!
I'm not doing the work myself. However the dash is coming out to repair the back of the scuttle without causing damage to the paintwork. The advantage will be that we can access the heater blowers. However, you can get the blowers out from below, mine have been out once.

Dashboard coming out!!
Due to minor op I'm not able to drive for the next six weeks so the XJS is going for some surgery of it's own. To facilitate this the Dashboard is coming out which will give access to all sorts of other bits. We are going to have a look at some of the Air con but whilst the opportunity is there what...

blue flame or aj6 engineering exhaust?
I'm in a similar position to Steve. Exhasut is starting to show its age, centre boxes have been welded once and may shortly be replaced with through pipes. I would like to just replace the components with similar spec and get the same sound. But what is/will be available, originals are getting scarc...

Spring Outing 2010 - Sunday April 11th
Hi Tony Would have liked to have joined you, despite the distance from home, I would have combined it with another trip to your neck of the woods. I've been waiting to see when a short appointment with a doc and knife was going to come up, which is now next week so will have to pass this time. On th...

Waxoyl Clear or Black
There is a chap in Lindfield Susssex who uses a combination of Waxoyl and Dinitrol. I've seen some of his work and it looks pretty good. Considering having my 1996 4.0 Celebration done this year.

XJS Seminar 30th January
I thought it was a really useful Seminar. David provided a great deal of information and many tips on what to look for if your car is not performing at its best or for that matter at all. I was hoping to get useful information from the day and was not disappointed. I will definitely attend again. Re...

E-Bay Celebration - Nice in White
Looks nice - Perhaps I should buy it then I could alternate the Black and the White - Somehow don't think my wife would quite see that happening!

Almost a New Arrival
Thanks for the Welcome Tony I got it from Roger Pierson. Near Midhurst Everything on the car has been fine, the temp gauge does not kick in until the car has warmed up but then indicates correctly. One or two minor things to sort out , but nothing to be alarmed about. I'm delighted with the car and ...

Almost a New Arrival
Hi
Having driven MKII in the 80's and been heavily involved in the Norfolk Jaguar Club at the time, I felt it was time to get another Jaguar.
Bought a 1996 4.0 Anthracite (Black) in February and still haven't stopped smiling about it.
