Re: Climate Control Blowing Cold Air
Last year I had a similar problem with my 2.5 v6, after a bit of digging I found that the outside air sensor located at the front of the vehicle was the problem and upon replacing this it was nice and warm again. I did notice that when the heating system was on, the inside temperature reading would ...

Re: expansion tank
In 2014 I replaced the header tank and top hose on my S Type following a leak discovered. I viewed the various discussions regarding this problematic expansion tank and bought both new tank and hose. Over this winter the new tank began to leak in the same area of the top hose, but it niggled me that...

scratch in door glass
In recent high winds grit managed to lodge itself in the drivers window rubber which I hadn't noticed. As a result I've managed to put several long but not deep scratches in the drivers door window when I lowered it. Any suggestions on how to remove them as although not deep they are annoying. Thanks.

Re: Door Mirror
Hi Mike,
Thanks I'll give Eurojag a go. Internal electrics/gearing, which is one unit, have been quoted by Jaguar at £40 or £101 (if memory seats are fitted) big difference.

Re: STR tinted window glass question.
If stopped by the police for tinted windows an authorised police vehicle examiner can give an opinion to the safety aspect of any tint, and this would be taken into account at any Court, however the majority of Road Policing Unit officers (Traffic) do carry or have access to a "TINTMAN". This accura...

Door Mirror
Hi, I have had problems with the near side exterior door mirror over the last few weeks, it moves up and down fine but not in or out. At first I thought it would be the motor unit, however you can hear the motor working. I have taken the mirror apart and found the white (plastic) runner the motor wo...
