fuel fail 24
Anyone know how to rectify a (very) intermittent Fuel Fail 24 error (it's happened twice in 4 months of mostly daily use)? Allegedly it's the ignition amplifier module but the car has never had any problems starting and although the "check engine" light comes on. Turning the engine off and then on a...

Number plate retention for my XJ40
Hi All, I have a Coventry reg'd ex-Jaguar Cars Car, registration M199 FVC. I was planning on putting a personalised plate on it (a "what on earth do i get myself for my 40th birthday?" present). Does anyone know if removing the current reg might detract from the cars value should I ever sell it on t...

For reluctant sale
My much loved XJS facelift convertible. Growing family and the lack of room for both rear baby seats and my wife as a passenger is forcing me to sell :( http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C291828# I may consider part exchange for an XJ8/XJ40/X300 or S-Type (2002 + 4.0 or 4.2 preferred) as these have...

Re: XJS 2+2 convertible facelift model bumper clips
Thanks all
Signature now fixed.
I've ordered the nut and the clip, not sure if the former comes with a bolt or if it's a standard size I can source from B&Q or the like.
Thanks for all the help -much appreciated

XJS 2+2 convertible facelift model bumper clips
Hi all I'm trying to source a fixing bolt and clip for the rear bumper on my XJS. These are for where the bumper is fixed to the wheel arch. The existing one had seized and when I had the bumper resprayed they'd drilled it out and not replaced it. I've been trying to find the correct part number for...
