Re: Maybe another F-type
Well I had a search regarding Fuse 15, went to the online manual (proper manual will be purchased soon) Started by turning on the ignition and activating the exhaust button, lifting the bonnet and removing the fuse box cover and subsequently fuse number 15. The result is an immediate increase in vol...

Re: Maybe another F-type
This sounds promising I just wonder if the Jaguar dealers will tune the new map out at service time, it seems some owners have had that actually happen even though they requested for that not to be done.
Maybe need a map file on the laptop to drop back onto the ECU post servicing?

Re: Car covers
I have used CoverZone storm force all weather 4 layer covers for several cars including an XJ6 and a F-TYPE and think they are much better than some cheaper ones I have used (and regretted). Once cheaper cover pulled on the shark tail arial on mine and did some damage! Thank you I think that maybe ...

Car covers
Any recommendations on indoor car covers for my 23 F type convertible please? Not looking to kill the wallet, Jaguar website indicates they are out of stock so I guess much like the cars they will not be sourcing/making any more. I did see some inexpensive ones on Ebay but wonder about the potential...

Re: Maybe another F-type
Hi Mike, well I am sure for some it is too noisy with the old F type soundtrack I think maybe Jaguar went a little too far quietening the new cars. After I just signed up for my 2023 car last Saturday a DB9 went past the showroom while I was outside and even though it was quieter than my 2015 car it...

Re: Rear Subframe corrosion
Hi Mike and Doug, Thank you for your input. I am definitely in the mind to keep this car until I either A, cannot drive or B, the big man with the Sickle and hooded cloak come calling. I am not going to be using the car in the worst the UK has to offer but I will invest in some rust protection for t...

Re: Rear Subframe corrosion
I have just bought a 75 AWD convertible as I have been missing my old 2015 V8 after 4 years without an F-type. Naturally I have not had to worry about subframes but now I am wondering if Jaguar Upgraded the subframes at some point. If they did I guess there should be no issues with my 2023 75? If th...

Addblue woes
2015 2.2 diesel has the a warning on the dash 501 miles time engine will not restart, ref incorrect Addblue specification detected. This has come up on my daughters car and I wondered if anyone has any advice on how to sort it out without emptying the bank account at the dealers? It seems to be a fa...

Maybe another F-type
So I am resigned to not buying my 2015 5.0 F-type back and decided to test drive a 2021 F-type 450 today. Very nice and lovely car but where has all the snap crackle and pop gone? Even in dynamic mode this car was quieter than my 2015 car was in quite mode, in fact I could hardly tell the exhaust no...

Wanted My 5.0 Ftype
I wonder if anyone in the club has got SP15 OKF my First F type?
I checked online MOT's and since I sold it it does not seem to have been used much at all according to the mileage.
Cheers
Colin

Series three fuel injection conversion
Here we go short and simple.... well for now anyway. I am thinking of converting my series 3 from carburettors to injection for fuel delivery. Looking for tips and guides etc as I know several will have made this improvement? So stoll on by if you are not a fan of injection or a purist in the orgina...

Re: Heater is rubbish
Thanks Mike I will take a look now I know what to look for, The car has only done 11 1/2 K so hopefully not enough use for it to be the problem. I will look and shine a torch through the slots to see how it all looks otherwise it may be a trip to the dealer.

Re: Heater is rubbish
Hi Mike, I am running with aircon/climate off so does this still affect the normal heating situation? I have no idea where to find the sensor on the F type to clean it do you know where it is? I did go out today and ran temperatures 25 then 23 with outside temp of 14 and for some reason it blew warm...

Re: Gearbox tail shaft housing
Hi, I used a mate who I have know for years, he tunes racing MZ motorcycles and does lots of aluminium welding on them. I was hoping for a casing but thought I would ask him if he would have a go at it which, he did for me and made a cracking job. He only wanted a drink £20  However I dropped ...
