There are 6 screws holding the crash roll. Two in the speaker recess; one either end of the crash roll and two more in the centre (behind the centre fascia panel). Then, it should come free. Mike. I have a 1996 X300 Sovereign and I want to fit an original CD changer in the boot. My car has never had one fitted from the factory but perhaps the cable is hidden somewhere?

The air bag warning light on my 2003 MY S-type lights up when I start the engine. First it flashes ONE time then a short brake and then flashes SEVEN times. This sequence is repeated two or three times. After the flashes it lights steadily. What is wrong?

When I close the doors of my XJ6 series 2 I have a quite loud rattling noise from the back of the car. I remember that I have read that it could be the flap to the exit ventilator. Anybody out there who has any ideas how to fix this annoying sound?

The tank meter on my 2003 V6 S-type only show 50% when newly filled full. It slowly rises from there and after 30 minutes or so show the correct value. Can this be something else than caused by a faulty sender in the tank?
