Re: Lights on in daylight Auto switch
I have now received replacement part. I have managed to prize out the part but am having trouble removing the wire harness plugs. Is there a certain way of doing this? Do they just pull out or do small clips need to be released?

Fluid in Passenger occupancy sensor
On returning from a 4 week holiday during which my XK8 Convertible has been left unused I have found a greenish oily liquid dripping from the Passenger occupancy sensor. Can anyone advise what this may be?
I have tested the hood and this raises and lowers OK.

Steering Wheel - rough veneer
I have just purchased 2003 XK8. The veneer on the top of the steering wheel is rather rough. Can this be smoothed with fine sandpaper and revarnished?
