Before I look to change my Battery on my Jag S type 3.0 SE, I am looking to buy a reliable Battery Charger first to see if the Battery is holding its charge. Does anyone recommend a Battery charger for a Jag S type 3.0 ?

I am going into tomorrow to get my Gearbox oil changed and also a Gearbox reflash.

I am correct in thinking that the reflash via the ECU puts the Gearbox back to is default settings?

Get a reputable Diagnostic check should come up with the correct fault code highlighting the problem

My replacement s type 3.0 SE , the radio has failed to work since I bought it. I have checked the fuse No2 in the drivers well , but the fuse is intact. Had the fuse tested and it seems no power is coming from the radio. ?

Any thoughts?

Just bought a later s type and wondered how easy it is to remove the old front grill and replace with a sports grill.

In the meantime I have cleaned out the throttle body and MAF sensor and applied cataclean to the petrol tank.

Had a diagnostic check , and revealed I have a misfire on no 2 cylinder 3.0 S type.

I was going to replace all spark plugs and coils, any other suggestions to rectify?

Could breather pipes be blocked up?

Yes it seems the new Road tax rates relate to new cars registered in 2016/17, even so very expensive and on a sliding scale before then.

I think the government are trying to kill the enjoyment of driving.
