how does the radius arm disconnect from the wishbone assembly.No problem removing front end from the floor area.Does the hub carrier have to come off to allow the bolt to come out?The workshop manual is rubbish on this part of the car.

Pat.Thanks for your reply.my coil is mounted on the engine breather so maybe it does not have one or it was removed when the Lumenition ignition was put on.I will try a different make of coil and see what happens.

Its a series 2, therefore the coil drives the rev counter. I guess you have a ballast resistor type coil being series 2, just check your replacement coil is the correct voltage.
