Cheers Neil. The drive piece looks slightly deformed, probably due to the generator being very stiff to turn. Don't think it is bad enough to need replacement though. You are the second person today to suggest a mirror, very handy indeed. I must get my own.....Mrs.H not too impressed with oily finge...

Have got the generator out.
It seems very stiff to turn. I would have thought it should spin easily.

The drive on the generator looks OK but the drive from the cam feels a bit 'uneven'.
Cam cover off for a better look?

Have managed to get in touch with the people who overhauled the servo and they tell me I need to use DOT 4 fluid to avoid any problems with the rubber seals in the servo and master cylinder, which is pretty much what I thought from reading early posts.
