Car still playing up. It's back in the garage this morning. I have now lost all faith in the car and am no longer willing to put myself or family into potentially dangerous situations with the engine cutting out.
Once I get it back I will be looking to trade it in for something a bit more reliable.

After having had two fuse boxes replaced the problem still re-occured. Have now had damaged ECU sensor pins repaired and had right hand rear sensor replaced and link loome replaced. I've had this issue myself and it seems to be an issue with the battery. I do very short trips. After recharging the battery evrything seems to rectify itself.
