Based on this and other members recommending LV, I tried for a quote for my 99MY XKR
Unfortunately because it doesn't have a tracker fitted, the system couldn't quote.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Went and bought a Ctek today
So you are connecting directly, in effect, to the terminals. On the one i have purchased it says connect the live direct but the negative to the car body not the terminal.
This seems less efficient, but does anyone else have a comment or view?

Looking at the post on battery drain I wondered if it is possible to connect a trckle charger to the battery without disconnecting the battery at all? I saw one trickle charger and it seemed to suggest that this was possible- a Draper model. Doesn't overcome te need to replace an ineffective battery...

I purchased a car cover - Noah fabric - from a US supplier, tailor fit for the car, at half the price of the UK including shipping.
No need for a extra long security cable and lock as it is a tailor fit. Has never moved off the car even in the very high winds
