Front and rear suspension upgrades
I have designed some uprated front and rear anti-roll bar drop links that I have fitted to both of my XJRs. The front ones work with the standard anti-roll bar. The rear ones are intended to be used with an uprated rear anti-roll bar such as the 20mm diameter Ultra racing AR20-293. The can only be f...

Re: Just bought a manual 1995 XJR6 - need for advice :)
Hi Corrado, Welcome to the small group of manual XJR owners. I used to work for Jaguar on the development of these cars and now own two manual XJR6 cars. I would recommend that you try to find a second hand copy of the Jaguar \heritage CD JHM1180. It contains all the workshop manual in pdf form. www...

Re: Andy Bracket fitted to my 3.2S
I offer two designs of revised crank sensor brackets. The most popular version, is the one that replaces EBC5017. This design of bracket was fitted to all AJ16 and "late" AJ6 engines fitted to XJ40s from VIN 667829 ( 4.0L engine number 667829) and XJS from VIN 179736. My other design of bracket is i...

Re: Spotted on A9
Naki, If you do meet owners of manual XJR6 cars, please do encourage them to get in touch with the club, or me directly. Even if they don't want to join the club, I would still like to update my register. Peter, Thanks for drawing this car to our attention. I don't have a car on my database with a r...

HI Rob,
Hopefully the wiring diagram that I gave you at Western day will have been of some help. Good luck getting the car started.
Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Re: Body Corrosion Seminar
I posted my application for this seminar 3 weeks ago and haven't had a reply yet. Do you know if the office in Bristol is holding off sending out tickets in case they have to cancel due to lack of numbers?

Body Corrosion Seminar
Is anyone else going to this seminar? It is the first one that I can remember on this subject. It will specifically cover X300 along with X308, XJS and XK9/XKR up to 2005, so I hope it will be an interesting day for all of us X300 owners. See you there.

Recommendation for removing the inlet manifold on an XJR6
I had to do this job today in order to replace a throttle body that keeps jamming shut, overcoming the clutch in the traction control actuator, resulting in complete loss of throttle movement. I was working on the engine last year and at the time I took the decision to re-route almost all the parts ...

Re: DIY Improvement to Performance & Economy of AJ16 Engines
Anyone who attended my presentations at the JEC AJ6/AJ16 Engine technical seminar will know all about this modification. It is the easiest and most cost effective way of which I can think, to improve performance and fuel economy. I have now made over 450 of these brackets. The latest batch of parts ...

It is good to see that the possibility of this seminar has generated enough interest to prompt a date being set. I, for one, will definitely be attending.

Re: DIY Improvement to Performance and Economy of AJ16 Engin
Dear All, I have done some research to determine to which AJ6 and AJ16 engines my revised bracket will fit. It appears that crank sensor bracket EBC1253 was fitted from 3.6L engine number 108835 to 4.0L engine number 161586. I can therefore provide a revised version of this bracket with an extra 5 d...
