Re: Air conditioning drain blockage
Swallows JLR have just replaced the "ducks bill" on my 2006 XK 4.2 convertible by removing the dash. Cost was about £6.00 for the part and 4 hours labour. Water ingress problem solved.

Re: Front seat movement
Hi Mike. I have finally sorted the seat problem. It needed a visit to Westover Jaguar in Christchurch where they "recalibrated" the seat modules. They could not understand why both seats had the same problem but suggested that it might have happened when the battery was disconnected. Anyway they bot...

Re: Front seat movement
Hi Mike Thanks for your reply. The problem is that the electric operation will not bring the seats to anywhere near vertical. I have had a look at the seats in cars belonging to other club members and the electrics certainly bring the seats backs much further over (forward) than they are currently d...

Front seat movement
The back of my seats on my 2006 convertible XK 4.2 do not fold forward properly. Although using the switches they will recline backwards they will not come upright even as far as vertical. Both seats are the same. Is this just a question of getting the modules reprogrammed or is there another soluti...

Re: Water in rear footwells
Hi Mike Thanks for your help. I think the typo might have been wishful thinking!!!. Strangely the carpets in the front footwells and under the seats are dry. I have dried out the rear footwells with a combination of aqua-vac, hair dryer and the hot sunshine and will see what happens next time I do a...

Water in rear footwells
I have a 2016 XK convertible. The carpets in the rear footwells are soaking wet and I am at a loss as to where the water is coming from. I hasn't rained for weeks although I have washed the car. I have checked the drainage pipes under the front of the hood and they are clear. Any ideas please?

EU Roadworthiness Testing
If you have not already read the "EU Roadwothiness Testing" artical under the news section on the clubs home page then please do so and sign up. What is being proposed is unworkable and could be a real problem for us all regardless of the age of your car

Hi John. Sorry about the delay. My roof was flushed and the oil replaced by Rybrooks in Warrington. I have about half a litre that they gave me which what was presumably left over. Strangly it is not a Jag "part" but has BMW, Porsche, Rolls Royce and Bentley numbers on it. It is made by Pentosin in ...
