Contact your regional Chair of JEC, there will be an independent with the correct equipment locally I'm sure.

Re: XKR Convertible Will Not Start. CAN BUS Issues
Ouch. First you would need to remove the offending unit so you could check exact part number, then see if you can get a replacement one from a reputable breaker such as Auto reserve. You would need a good independent jaguar specialist with the correct equipment to programme it to the car yes, it's n...

Good result, you could always sell the spare once repaired and at least get something back!

Re: Gearbox fault - gets stuck in 1st gear - Rain Sensor ?
One further thought, normally with the 'gearbox fault' message the car sticks in 3rd gear, so if it is definitely stuck in 1st gear then perhaps it is something else? quick search has brought up a rotary switch on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176596207715?chn=ps&_ul=GB&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=...

The rotary switch on the side of the gearbox is a fairly common failing, used ones are not too expensive.

Re: 2006 jaguar xk ctek charging help
Are you double locking the car, ie pressing the button twice? This is necessary to shut down all the systems. If so, and there are no internal lights on then there is no reason it should drain so fast. Presume you have no other accessories connected to the car? I am not certain if the accessory 12v ...

Re: Clicking noise from engine bay
On the XK8 there is an 'intelligent sounder' mounted below that area, accessible from the wheel arch by removing the liner. This does fail as it has an internal rechargeable battery that dies over time. However I am not sure it is in the same site on the X150. It may be well be this that is giving y...

Or put it on eBay? I sold both my old XJs on there, ok didn't get a huge amount, but at least it's not getting scrapped.

Re: New member and key fob issues
Hi Mike Fobs are readily available on eBay, see link below, you then need to get it programmed to the car. You need either an independent jaguar garage with the right equipment, or a locksmith that specialises in programming car keyfobs. The good news with the S Type is that fobs are cheap, unlike t...

Good, it's a pretty easy swap, there are plenty of videos on removing the centre console, let me know if you need some links to them.

Re: Reversing Sensors For X308
If you are getting the long beep the sounder is fine, (it's just a loudspeaker) and if you are sure they are all 'ticking' when in reverse then I think the problem has to be the module itself in the boot area.
