my xj8 locks properly and alarms but the day i bought it it chirped each time it was locked/unlocked...........never done it since that first day ????

i cannot for the life of me remember the name...but it was in classic car mag, its an insurance company in burscough/ ormskirk..had an 01704 number. i insured my 1988 750il bmw with them, they wanted photos which helped with the valuation. i paid 2grand for it , they valued it at 3grand.....i wrote ...

after the cutting out saga and replacement throttle body and 500 quid service ................. i can happily report that i took jag on a 400 mile round trip ( mainly motorway ) .......and it ran like a new car.... and wow what a car. i am as happy as a pig in you know what..... even got the cd chan...

just collected my car from jaguar at peterborough,
been in for a 70,000 mile service and new rear pads
granted my wallet is 630 quid lighter but at least its given me some peace of mind and another jag stamp in service book as i only bought car 3 weeks ago

just out of intrest, what cars did you own before you got your x308 ? heres mine ( from last 5 years ) 1985 audi coupe gt 1989 jag 4.0 1997 rover 420 sdi 2002 mondeo tdci zetec 1989 ( pristine 70k miles genuine ) bmw 750il ..... i wrote it off :( :( 1994 bmw 520i ( kept it for 11 days) ......s**t !!...

bought the one off ebay, genuine jag one out of a crashed one , he says will be compatible with my car ( if not will refund me) comes with brackets bolts etc,

i am a member of the aa ( the breakdown cover not the drinking one ) i added my girlfriend onto my membership the other day and was told about a service they do called breakdown repair cover. they sent all paperwork and i have read it thoroughly.... this is roughly it; £8 per month, in event of a br...

after careful consideration i have booked it in at jag peterborough and it will be serviced there on friday, maybe its costing more than i could get it for at independant but it has main dealer history so i will continue that.

was advised to have 100k service other day but today he said 70k service as 100k dont include spark plug change ????
anyway he said 500 quid inc vat etc etc is this about right price ?
