Evans sells a product that you run through the system that eradicates any water/old coolant residues, thus removing the problem. Evans says that their system will run with up to 5% water/coolant residue, but obviously recommends using their other product to avoid this. I have been researching this p...

Re: Nik Antcliffe
Sorry to hear of Nik's passing, he was very helpful a few years back when I bought the wife an XK8 Convertible. What did he die of? Was it a car accident?
Condolences to his wife and family.

Kangol for sure, don't know about 'reflex', my '77 has them fitted, N.Am spec standard in '77 they have the orange release buttons for the buckles. Same as the saloons over here, don't see why there would be a difference over there. Let me know if you can't find any, I must have a couple of pairs ki...

Fitting an X308 interior into a series 2 XJ
Hello everybody! I have a series 2 XJ12 LWB which I am considering fitting the seats from an X308 XJR to. Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the back seat area, and if this will work? I have tried to find dimensions online with no luck, if anybody has done this type of conversion or knows the dim...

Re: Wanted : XJS 4.0 couple manual.
Pity you weren't looking last month! I just sent off to the scrapper, a 1995 XJ6 Sport with manual gearbox, had it advertised on here, no takers, and as I'm in Canada, and the car was clogging up mother in law's driveway, it had to go. I got £500 for it from a Jag recycler, who would probably sell y...

Re: front fog-lights/ driving lights on TWR bodykit ?
Are they really worth that sort of money? I have a pair brand New Old Stock, white lensed with mounting brackets, instructions and growler covers, bought them a few years ago for a car, never fitted them, sold the car, you know how it goes. Wow if I could get half that sort of money I'd sell them in...

Re: 1989 XJ-S 5.3 Engine Stopped
I had a similar problem with one of my XJ-S cars, last year. It was a 1987 coupe, but I don't think there is any difference,(maybe I'm wrong?), anyway, I had spark and fuel and turned over, but wouldn't fire. There are some relays in the boot, above the battery area. There are 2 metal topped relays....
