Re: XK60's Whose got one?
Doing better than I have - I haven't come across a single XKR 75 owner to compare notes with.

Re: XK apparently to cease production - summer 2014
I think a replacement with a bit more rear room would not be a bad thing. The back seats in my XJ-S were useable - a little cramped for long distances, but OK. The XK8 was tighter - 3 people was OK, but to take a fourth, I had to put the driver's seat too far forward to be comfortable for any distan...

Re: XKR 75 Goodwood
Thanks, Mike - I've been trying to choose between the XKR and the Nissan GT-R, and have test driven several of each. After the GT-R, any XKR feels softer. In the end, I was unable to convince myself that I could live with the harsh GT-R ride in order to enjoy super car performance, and this will be...

XKR 75 Goodwood
I have an opportunity to buy one of these beasties. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with this model? I know there can be long-term risks buying a special edition model, with non-standard parts that become unobtainable in future, and I'll probably be keeping the car for at least 10 yea...

Re: Cannot open boot lid on W Reg XK8
Try gentle downward pressure on the boot lid - it reduces the friction on the latch. I could not get mine to open with the key, and with a flat battery, things were looking a bit grim. But pushing down on the lid took the strain off the latch & it opened easily.

Re: Independant Specialist for XK8
Les Pauls Motors in Woodford Green (020 8551-8537) - they have been servicing my XK8 since it came out of warranty, and my XJS before that. I travel from Stoke Newington to use their services, since I trust their work. A good bunch, who understand that being a Jag owner doesn't mean you're made of m...
