My local Jag Mr Fixit has said he can't change the front suspension bushes (MoT advisory) due to lack of special tools to remove old bushes and compress spring. Anyone advise/help please?

Door skin replacement
My '66 S-Type needs a new rear left-hand door skin so I am looking for a restorer in the West Country capable of doing a good job for me. Can anyone recommend someone? I live in Falmouth so the nearer the better but I don't mind traveling if I can get a good job at a reasonable price.

Fuel being drawn from the 'wrong tank'
While using fuel from the RH tank with LH Pump OFF fuel was drawn from the LH tank to the extent that when the RH tank was empty the LH tank was three-quarters full. The journey started with both tanks full. Is this normal? What has 'failed' if not?

Fuel Tank Vents
I recently paid a lot of money to have both fuel tanks in my 1966 S-Type replaced with new ones. The tanks the company fitted have no vent pipes unlike the original. Should I be concerned about this?

Cruise control
I am planning to retrofit the cruise control system to my XK8 (1997). I am basing the upgrade on one carried out on an XJ8 and documented by a company up north. Firstly I need to confirm that the parts and technique are the same for the XK as for XJ, and secondly, as I dont have cruise I need to kno...
