Re: agreed insurance valuation , where do i start ?
Hi Russ
I do all the valuations for the Club and they are accepted by all the insurers so can I suggest you give me a ring during office hours if poss. It will be easier to advise you fully that way.

damaged car for sale
I have been contacted by a lady in Devon who has a December 07, Diesel that has blown the engine big time. Its supposed to be in excellent condition and she is looking for £1000 for it.
With the price of spares, sounds good value for a late car. Anyone interested let me know.

Re: XK120 Hood
Hi Your car does come up as being delivered in 1951 and it is a steel car, however they did retain the alloy bonnet and doors. So yours is a standard car.
Good luck with the restoration

Re: XK120 Hood
Hi
It is probably an early car hence the alloy doors, if you let me have the chassis number I will check it out for you.
Regarding the hood there was no frame, the hood simply folded down into the recess behind the front seats.
