The rear brake light on rear parcel shelf/window has worked loose and I can not see how it fixes in place. Can anyone advise.

Hi there. I don't use my jag everyday and sometimes only go short distances when I do. So I had to replace my battery recently. I was getting the infamous error message 'TRAC NOT AVAILABLE' and the ABS light on start up. Also I had to reprogramme my windows regularly. My independent dealer recomende...

Just an update for anyone interested. I have now got the car back and one thing I have noticed is on starting I no longer get ""Trac not available" along with ABS warning light. When I first got the car two years ago I never got the "Trac not Available" /ABS warning. When I did start to get the erro...

Sorry I have taken so long to reply to all your good advice. I actually called my independent service people and they came and took the car last Tuesday. I am hoping to pick the car up today. They have said it was the battery and they have been running a few checks on the alternator and looms. Prior...

Starting Probems
This morning my XK8 would not start. I always let it go through its "system check" then when I turned the key fully there was nothing. I lifted the bonnet and tried again, there was a click as if the starter was faulty. I tried a few more times and on one occassion, I noticed an error "PECUS" and a ...

To let you all know my experience. My car was first registered 17/05/02, my VIN SAJAC41M32NA29006 and Engine number NB0202131435. After seeing the possibility of my tensioners being the 4.2 type, I became curious as to what mine were. So I asked my trusty? independent to have a look during its servi...

KEY FOB
I have just changed the batteries in my two Key Fobs originally neither would work. Main Dealer had a look and said fobs have probably gone, I knew better than to take their word for it and found the answer on this Bulletin Board. Bassman had posted instructions on how to reprogram the fob. It has w...
