My Celebration is going for her MOT and 60k service in mid-May...and as soon as she passes I will gladly write an article to celebrate one year of ownership (noting that it may be the first time I've owned a car for such a long period!) Cheers

Hi Rob, Many thanks for your reply! Your work there looks excellent. I haven't quite decided what I'...

Re: Best supplier of new floor mats?
Hi David - a few years ago I had a carpet set, including the mats, made up for me by Aldridge Trimming. They asked me to send the old ones so they could reuse the fittings and heel mat. I was very pleased with the quality of what they did for me. Hi David, Thanks so much and apologies for the very ...

Best supplier of new floor mats?
Hi everyone, I dare say this question has arisen before, but I couldn't find it - sorry if I'm being dumb. I've a lovely 1995 XJS Celebration coupe and would like to replace her floor mats - not the carpets, just the mats that sit on them. I've seen a few posts here relating to Hamiltons car mats, b...

Re: 1995 Celebration: onset of rust between roof and chrome window surrounds?

Cheers,
David

Re: 1995 Celebration: onset of rust between roof and chrome window surrounds?
Hi Paul, Thanks so much for the speedy reply. I've attached two photos that hopefully demonstrate the issue. I should have said the car had a full respray approx. three years ago, so if this is rust, it hasn't had a decade to develop. I've checked the drain channels too (thank you) and they look rea...

1995 Celebration: onset of rust between roof and chrome window surrounds?
Hi folks, Having just purchased a '95 Celebration coupe, I've noticed (what I think are) the very beginnings of some rust in the narrow channels between the roof and the chrome window surrounds on both sides of the car. At first glance it looks like a fine line of dust in each channel, but on closer...
