Hi there its Peter we met at Gaydon. Just checked out your pics once more. Very envious of your work!!!
If you remember it, then I wouldn't mind that repair section. Just let me know how much you need for it.
Thanks
Peter

NEC Classic Car Show
I'll have a think where we could meet, although you guys might know the area better. I used to live in Ashby which is not that far away. However might be better just this side of the NEC.
Does anyone have any preference on Saturday or Sunday?

NEC Classic Car Show
Is anyone interested in getting a gathering together to go to the Classic Car show at the NEC. I've just got back from a great trip to Gaydon with the club courtesy of our events co-ordinator Tony and as their seemed to be quite a few folks from the midlands wondered if its worth while. What does ev...

XJS Forum End of Season Outing 2009
Hi Tony and fellow convoyers!!! Just a note to say it was great to meet with everyone and I had a great time. The convey was quite cheeky wasn't it and certainly turned a few heads when we arrived. Got some nice pics which I will have to figure out how to post. In the mean time if anyone gets time t...

XJS Forum End of Season Outing 2009
You've just made my day. After being rained out at Thoresby and missing most of the events down in the South for one reason or another I thought my season would draw to a close with spares day. So I would very much look forward to joining you all at Gaydon in my black 1989 3.6 Coupe. One more excuse...

No Interior Courtesy Lights
Recently I was working on the drivers side door motor/regulator. Very frustrating since this was he second one and turns out it was just the switch (so I have a spare if anyone is in need). Anyway the window slid down onto the cable that goes to the red door light. Ever since this occasion the inter...

Groaning Sound from steering
Hi All, I had the unfortnate luck of running over something metal looking and solid that was lying in the middle of the road. Ever since this time my power steering now makes a groaning sound when I turn left (worse when at slow speed) and I think feels a little heavier. The sound seems to be worse ...

AJ6 Engine Paint
I've a 3.6 AJ6 and some of the paint is flaking off from the rocker cover as I am doing a bit of tidying up I would like to paint the black and possible reniew the slver stripes. I assume that this is aluminiium and therefore I was thinking that some sort of corrosion protection like alachrome, then...

Passanger Electric Window
Hi BB,
Removed the channel and cleaned it + lubricated with Silacone spray. However I was unable to detach the window lift mechanism as the arm will not budge. I am going to go for replacing the motor and see how I get on. However I was able to take care of some rust while I was at it!
