Re: Rear suspension 2008 X150 convertible
The prices quoted were to replace all items which seems to be the way these days as it is easier for a garage to remove/replace rather than remove/repair. The prices were to replace with new original parts.. It appears the lower wishbone bushes need replacing which would require access to a press wh...

Re: Alarm keeps going off
Hi Jim I have done that without knowing it only lasted one cycle. I put a code reader on it and nothing showed up but still have the warning message in vehicle settings/security through the screen. An additional development is that if I double lock it I get a strange noise from under the bonnet, dri...

Re: New member seeking advice
Hi Michael I second the comment re battery condition. I thought mine was fine as it was reading ok voltage wise but the car just went completely dead on me. Had a new battery fitted and since then all ok. I was getting a lot of warnings coming up periodically, pedestrian warning system mainly and th...

Road trip to Scotland
Having bought my 2007 XK Convertible last winter and ironed out most of the issues from a very underused car I decided it was time to stretch it's legs a little. So off we set on September the 18th 2021 headed from Doncaster to destination Leith to see the Royal Yacht. The plan was overnight there, ...

Re: Footwell Cover Trim Missing
Hi Did you manage to get a panel? If it is the plastic panel you are referring to I have a spare one minus the small fuse panelthat you can have if you still need it? I was unshore if you meant the soft padded panel that sits horizontally under the glove box and covers the blower motor? I think thes...
