Re: Steering Column Shroud
Stupid me, found the answer to be three hidden screws securing the upper shroud. I didn't think it was going to be secured once the lower shroud was undone.

Steering Column Shroud

I've undone the two screws holding the bottom shroud in place and that is free now but the upper plastic shroud is holding firm when I expected it to be free. The column itself has been wound out an...

Re: Multiple errors
For sure this will be a battery-related issue. Replace it with a new high-power good quality battery.

Re: all headlights intermittent
I would definitely suspect the earth point behind the headlights. Yes, it does tend to snap off if you tighten it, but that's a sign it's no good anyway. Starter Motor Silence

Aerosus Rear Suspension Unit's
My 2006 x350 (4.2) has developed a sagging rear o/s , down to 33cms and not rising when the engine is started. I am assuming the rear suspension unit is leaking so does anybody have any experience using the Aerosus suspension units. They seem to be good quality and I was thinking of changing both re...

Plenty of adverts on ebay where I got mine. Expect to pay £90-£100 for good ones. Cheaper are likely to be just that

Rustproofing Rear Subframe
Has anyone found a reputable rustproofing company who will just treat the rear subframe. The ones I have contacted only want to treat the whole car.

Re: 3 doors 'full' of rain water.....
My passenger door fills up readily, I guess the best solution is just to make sure it flows out as quickly.

Radio Swap
Does anybody know if the cassette player can be simply swapped for a single CD player, or is there a coding issue to overcome?
