Hello,
Does anyone know what the two small screws spec is that secure the Daimler motif to the bonnet ? I have restored the underside of the bonnet and would like 2 new screws as old are rusty and look crap..
Thanks.

Re: Front Wings - Replace or repair
Hi, This is why when I bought mine I made sure the car was pretty rust free everywhere and especially the front wings , due to the horrendous costs of buying and ,as other knowledgeable members have said, the additional costs and time trying to get them fitted correctly. Lead loading / filling etc i...

Hi all, Stupidly I have lost 2 of the cone point screws that secure the bonnet to the hinges. Would any one know where I can get these ? They are 5/16th UNF 1 " I think . SNG Barratt don't have them nor anyone else that I can find. Or if someone has some spare they could sell me that would be great....

Saves getting to the pedal pin & springs in situ which co...

Front coil springs Daimler v8 250.
Hello all, Has anyone found that fitting replacement front springs caused the vehicle to sit too high ? I did this on my S Type some years ago and it did sit far too high. Did not look right. Springs were from SNG Barratt so should have been correct spec . Will soon do same job on the Daimler soon a...

Re: Replacing rear springs
I recently went to the Goodwood revival, which incidentally was a great day out, with four people and luggage in the Mk2 and on some undulations the exhaust was touching the road. I think that I may also be replacing the rear springs but before I go down that road could anyone please tell me what t...
