I used a company calle Event Mobile Tyres:
http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/
You can quote/ book online and they came pretty quick - fit & balance the tyres in a van at your work/ home. Think it was last year & around £100 per tyre (I got two).
All went pretty smoothly.
Regards,
Keith.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the input. I tried taking the fuses out one by one & it seems that it may be the LH blower being erratic - will see how the RH one behaves on its own. Another weird thing is that often when I start the car the fans don't come on at all when set to low or norm but work fine at max...

Variable fan speed
Hi All, A slightly different problem but not sure if it could be the same cause. I've had the car for about 10 months, used as a daily driver and the fans worked peferctly. A couple of days ago I noticed that the fan speed seems to be 'hunting' fast and slow, changing quickly. This happens no matter...

Result!
Hi All, Got the new unit in OK at last, had some problems with the power/ ignition/ ariel wires at first but bought a cheap multimeter & got it fixed within 30 min after that. The only problem now is that my wife complains there has still been no improvement in the quality of the music I listen to.....

Hi All, I will need a couple of tyres soon and found a company on the web called 'Event Mobile Tyres'. They offer mobile fitting of P600s at about £106 each, all inclusive. I e-mailed them to ask about adhesive weights & they replied quickly that they can do this. They have a lot of positive feedbac...

I've managed to get the front panel off & exposed the rivets - it should all be plain sailing from here (famous last words). I guess this is the downside of getting a decent car - I am used to having exposed screwheads everywhere... My next dilema is 'new stereo' or 'tank of fuel'...? Thanks t...

I can see this is going to be one of those jobs that escalates into a full rebuild  Another probably daft question, does the black surround panel just pop off to get access to the rivets? I note the heater controls are a simple push fit and come off easily enough. What is the next step? Thanks ...

Radio Cassette Removal?
Hi All, I have a 1990 XJ-S with a standard Jaguar (Clarion?) DAC 5574 radio cassette. I would like to replace it with a CD player but got stuck at the first hurdle. How does the current unit come out? It is not covered in the manual (apart from the usual 'take it to your dealer...') and can't find a...
