Re: iPace gearbox fault/motor failure
Thanks for the update Dave.
I presume that 'an oil seal failure' was not going to be put down to a manufacturing fault. Corrosion of that parking pawl does seem to be a growing feature in problems with the I-Pace.

Re: iPace gearbox fault/motor failure
Hi Dave I am sorry and a little supprised at what has happened to your I-Pace. In my experience traction motor faults are highly unusual, it is usually the batteries and control circuits that cause faults. I think that, seeing as the dealership has completed this much work without involving you, the...

In addition there seems to be a reduction in insurance cost - mine has just come in at 40% below last year, that is with the same company and no change of circumstances. Other owners are also reporting a reducion.

Re: F Pace 5.0 Lt SVR Owners Handbook
Hi Stuart
You can also download the handbook to your smart phone so that it is available on the move.
I hope you are enjoying the experience with your F Pace it would be great to hear a bit more about your car for the magazine.
Kind regards
Paul

It is a very good point that you make Paul.
I have found on several occaisions that a Monthly magazine becomes a rich source of 'learning material' for people working/operating in education and training.

Re: Electrifying news!
Hi Paul. Just looking back through the past magazines online and you have March 2021 to June 2021 - four articles by David Wood about the different forms of powertrains including Battery, Hybrid and Hydrogen. Then there is David's 2 part feature in the SUV section of the May 2022 and June 2022 editi...

Re: Electrifying news!
Excellent news Paul. Don't forget to read bach through the past 2 years of the SUV section in the magazine where I have been writing about living with the I-Pace. If you have any questions please ask away. Pictures and a few words about your experience for the magazine would be interesting. Good luc...

Re: Security update recall
Good morning Steve. I have not had any other members contact me about this specific recall. However, I do know that JLR have been working on updating the security accross the range of their vehicles, especially as Range Rovers had become a particular target for the 'keyless relay' entry method of th...
Re: E Pace
Have a look at the back editions of the magazine over the past 12-15 months or so. In the SUV section we have covered a few stories from members who own an E-Pace. The cars seem to be very good but I would look for an example that has had more engine oil changes than is recommended by Jaguar. The In...

Re: Auto Window open close feature
I am always suprised how effective this Global opening feature is. In hot weather, push the button on the key fob while approaching the car, and within a few seconds the hot air inside the vehicle is replaced with cooler air from outside the car. Global opening and Global closing are two different s...

Re: Onboard telematics in sleep mode
Interesting Mike. This is because JLR are strengthening their security protocols due to the unusual number of (mostly Land Rovers) that have been sucessfully stolen. The trouble is that it is causing owners/customers of electric/hybrid cars significant issues as they cannot access the most favourabl...
