Hi Peter - can I ask what year your car is? I’m confused that your signature says the car is 1990 but you have Lucas ignition. From 1989 onwards the Magnetti Marelli system was fitted.

Hi-your picture is the camshaft position sensor for the engine management system and nothing to do with the PAS system.
However, you are right that the PAS pump is engine-driven. It is mounted behind the the sensor slightly to the left of your picture.

Hi. BEC6559 is for the early facelift convertible and BEC9535 is the early facelift coupe. I’m afraid I don’t know what the physical differences are but I’m supposing there must be some for Jaguar to go to the trouble and expense of listing 2 different part numbers

Hi - for what my opinion is worth I would not replace the bushes with anything other than the standard metalastic. My fear is twofold. First the radius arm must have sufficient give in it.
