Re: Thinking of having a look.
Good morning, When i bought the Daimler - i had a abs fault light and iffy oil pressure sensor. The ABS cleared after a few long drives. These X300 does not like being sat for weeks/months on end. The more i drove the Daimler the better it became and started to show where the issues truly are... So ...

Daimler Six battery
Good morning owners, I am looking for a definitive answer on what battery should be fitted to my Daimler Six. I have notice that the majority of options single out the 019 or a 096 type batteries. As my Daimler has a 4ltr motor and a lot of toys I would assume the bigger of the two. However I been l...

Re: Electrical connector ID query
Hello,
I’ve just gone through the wiring diagrams and the connector is for the headlight power wash pump.
It’s on the page with fig 16.1 of the X300 jaguar drawings.
Hope this helps to identify your connector!
Jamie

Removing individual rear seats from a Daimler Six
Good day everyone. I have searched many a topic on removing the rear seat from a Jaguar XJ. However they only appear to be the bench type seats. I have the 4 seater edition of a Daimler Six which has the full electric everything reclining seats. Has anyone removed these seats before? I’m in the proc...

The Daimler Six LWB (X330) also had the option for 4 seats. I know because I have one.

Re: Engine rocks - honestly but side 2 side rocking...
Pulled the plugs tonight as Thursday night was a no go.... No 6 was fine as was No5 but No 4 was clean... so the award goes to a faulty coil!!! As I have inspected them all and tested each one with a meter. I can only assume that the secondary winding has gone in the coil but I haven’t the time or p...

Re: Hello, New owner of a Daimler Six LWB 1996
Good afternoon Naki, I plan on doing everything myself - where possible. I had been looking for XJ for sometime - then this daimler popped up roadworthy but in need of some TLC. I'm currently running on 5 cylinders and fault finding the plugs/coils at the moment. I have a rocking motion at idle whic...

Re: Engine rocks - honestly but side 2 side rocking...
Cheers gents - thank you for your time.
I have thursday night to test the coils/plugs etc.
Its AJ16 4.0ltr engine, Daimler Six LWB. I think that ive been using her more now than ever it was bound to throw some issue up.
I will keep you posted of my findings.

Engine rocks - honestly but side 2 side rocking...
Hey everyone - shes been fine upto the point I started putting refrigerant gas into the air con and then I have developed a rocking motion at idle. With the air con on its worse, i've checked the plugs as well. Cyl 5 plug was oily so I swapped to cyl 6 and swapped the coil pack with cyl 4. So the ne...

Re: Hello, New owner of a Daimler Six LWB 1996
Apologies for posting in the wrong section - I saw new arrivals and just went for it.
There is no new arrivals group for the X300 section - which is a shame.
Although my X300 does have its bumpers front and rear from a X308.
Thanks again
