You could try Eurojag or North East Jag spares ( Neville ) I think that's how you spell his name. Or any Jaguar breakers, but I would imagine the original part you you need will be pretty scares by now.
Good luck.

Turn it off and leave it off. Save yourself a lot of money on future engine repairs.

Re: Auxiliary Heater Not Working
Great result Brian I've read in the past that some owners disconnected the said heater because of the smoke on initial start up eg fumes geting into the cabin. But for me that was a small price to pay for a lovely warm car after a mile or so.

Re: Battery charging
Very interesting comments there Mike. I've often wondered if you could use the under bonnet jump start connectors to charge the battery.

DPF issues maybe if your not doing long runs and rust issues especially the sills as you've already mentioned.

Re: Auxiliary Heater Not Working
Did you get it sorted. If not have a look on the S Type forum, I've posted on there how to fix it using the icarsoft scanner.
PS I know this is an old thread but the post might help someone

As AJP says use a well known brand with the correct specs for your engine and you'll be fine.

Re: New club member
Hello Trevor Welcome to JEC, the best club to be in. However there's not much on the Forum these days because I think all of us that have S Types , the ones left, mine a 2005 2.7 d, don't have much going wrong wrong with them anymore, mine sits at 153.000miles and is, jokingly, a body with all new ...
Re: DPT Chips
Re the chipping or re map. I had a S Type 2.7 D which has the PSA engine, fitted to lots of different cars eg JLR / Peugeot / Citroen etc So it's a stock engine designed to operate anywhere in the world. They can be tuned/re mapped call it what you will to increase BHP/ Torque but it could compromis...

Re: Diesel failure
I had a S Type 2004 diesel pre DPF and I had no problems with the engine and a lot of my journeys were short ones. A question here. Did they fit a non DPF engine in the XJ I think the S Type had it fitted after 2006.

Re: Sill repair panels.
I'm really sorry to hear about your predicament with the sills As mentioned in earlier post's it's not until you start delving in to the problem how far the rust has infiltrated. I think that's why company's will be reluctant to take the work on.
Best of luck.
Jeff.
