Update: 2 coil packs causing a misfire and a 3rd overheating! New packs ordered and new plugs fitted. This car has done 60K and is 18 years old so I am told that to renew all packs makes sense and the plugs are due to be renewed at that milage.

What is the life of coil packs? I replaced 2 aye 59k now have a further problems at 60K should I replace the other 6?

I currently have an XJ8, we are moving to a property with a garage that the XJ8 will be a very tight fit! I have always liked the Daimler V8 after my cousin had a BRG one in the 70's. So my question is how big are they inclung mirrors, also any major issues to look for.

A few pieces of grit must have been caught in the rubbers of the nearside rear door glass and has caused scratching. Is there a company that can polish this out or do I get a new glass? If so is the tint standard?

I currently have a year 2000 XJ8, I intend to purchase either a XK yr 2006 or a XK8 2005, one of my issues is how big are they in comparison to the XJ8

I have had the engine symbol come on, a friend sugested this sensor can cause this, how many are on the engine ?

The car is a standard Executive without sunroof.
