Had similar with my X300 recently, turn a corner and noise, sometimes on the straight, but more often on the turn's. Turns out it was the drivers side rear wheel bearing, the inner one had collapsed! Thank fully I was only doing short distance at the time, and my man on the spanners soon sorted it, ...

Just a thought, if the X300 has four indicator bulb's and the X308 has just two, then might it be that you need another resistor? Or, another idea, wire up the X300 units, and zip tie them up behind the bumper, and take a feed from those to the X308 units? Must admit, auto elec's leave me cold! :oop...

Derek, it was a very good turn out, some very well kept cars, and a treat to see some real ole timers.

What a fantastic day! the sun was out and so were the Jag's! 2 XK140's!!! several 'S' types, Mk2's XJ's, XK8's the list just goes on! The highlight for me, was the 'S' type won best car in show! and..........wait for it............................... Cheshire won the club award! What a result! Nice ...

Paid a visit to a local indie Jag garage, they can sorce the bolts for less than a £10!
And haveing asked about the struts, yes they can be done without dropping the IRS off the car!
