thanks for that, where abouts in the boot is the module?
i've had relays out for the rear windows, which i manged to put up, and also the other relays in the boot.
also, with the doors shut, the car wont lock with the fob, they just try and then unlock, so it may be the locking module?

I have checked the fused which is ok, i can hear the solonoid click when i try to go further beck, but nothing going forward, if that makes sense.

Well, sold via good old e.bay,
just waiting for the chap from Devon to pick it up, sounds like he will look after it, tells me hes just restored an xk150 !
i will use my xkr for a while, but think I will eventually return to an xjs!

XJS-C. ITS GOT TO GO, (EITHER THAT OR THE XKR!)
Thanks Paul, its a case of too many cars, and not enough room to store them or time to use them. I must say the xjs has been great to use, and I dare say that another one wouldn't be out of the question in the future! (a full convertible next time I think) I'll keep an eye out for any trips your pla...

well I've just had the car serviced at a local specialist, at a cost of £180, as opposed to the £500 the main dealers wanted. front suspension checked out and all ok, he did say that the top wishbone bushes had been replaced, as well as the control arms. I can only assume that the excess tyre wear h...
