need tyre replacement always gone for p 6000 (car looks and sits better to me) but thinking of putting p 4000 on as these are recomended for standard xj8 . question do these tyres run quietier and also my tyre man has said that p7000 are also available , any feed back most welcome

when drive is selected it takes 2 or 3 seconds before the gears engage also when engaged if a qiuckish pull off is required such as at a give way the car hesitates for about 1 to 2 seconds there is a thud then my car drives perfect moving up the gears with absolute smoothness anyone had similar prob...
