Re: Removal of Upper Steering Column Cowl
Dear jimeva, Thanks for the reply. That was my first thought but having exerted significant force it was obvious that there was something substantial holding it in place. Have now discovered what that was - three screws, accessible from underneath the column (one of which remained hidden by a wiring...

Removal of Upper Steering Column Cowl
In the process of removing/checking/replacing the wiper switch stalk on a 2000 XKR. Have removed steering wheel, airbag and lower steering column cowl but something is still holding the upper cowl in place. Any advice as to what it is and how I can free it gratefully received. Thanks.

XKR Central locking
Barry, It might be worth checking the security system fuse. I always remove mine when on ferries - to disarm the alarm - but the effect is exactly as you describe with the locks (although the alarm does not sound!). It's in the boot/trunk fuse box - rear RH side. Michael Thanks for your help. I'll t...

XKR Central Locking Problem
Recently when I operated the central (un)locking command from the key fob it resulted in the door locks actuating on their own three or four times before finally unlocking. That situation lasted a few days but then was replaced by complete inaction when I operated the key fob. (I am sure that the ba...

Possible suspension problem? Anyone had similar experiences or have any suggestions? Also can anyone recommen...
